The Coxreels Hand Crank Hose Reel mounting holes are too narrow to install on studs. So, we've created this mount for that reel that spans the studs so that you don't have to open up the wall, install blocking, and then patch the drywall. I do not recommend this mount if you have block walls or are comfortable adding blocking between the studs. I think the reel looks better without this mount.
There are two finishes available: wrinkle black and stainless steel. There are two widths available—18" for studs 16" in the center and 26" for studs 24" in the center. The holes for installing the mount to the wall are slotted, providing adjustment if necessary. The mount comes with all the hardware needed for installation.
We used to offer a mount similar to this, but because of its design, it flexed with the weight of the reel and hose. This new mount was designed with the bends in the proper orientation, making the mount much more stout.
If your garage is constructed with studs, and you want the easiest way to install your hose reel, this is what you need.
