The Beginner Polishing Kit has been on my mind for a while. Now that we carry Griot’s Garage, we can finally offer it. The problem we found with most “Starter” or “Beginner” kits is that you always end up with some junk polisher that's awful to use, unreliable, and that you'll end up replacing after one car.
But with the G13 polisher and G15 polisher, that won't be an issue. Until I was able to afford a proper Rupes & Milwaukee setup, I used something very similar to these, and let me tell you, they have only gotten better with time. I used these recently to correct my Rivian, and they hold their own. For the price, there is nothing like them, and I will last for years.
Trust me when I say you get the most value for your money with this kit. I would know I've seen, held, felt, and used just about everything on the market 10 times over.
I really tried hard to boil this kit down to the minimum I believed it needed to be. It will get you up and running enough to see if you enjoy the process, which you will once you see the result. Some next steps I would consider adding to this is a dedicated detailing light like a Scangrip or Milwaukee. That way, you can really see what's going on with your paint.
The last thing, if you are doing all this work, I suggest you protect your paint, whether that be a coating or Wax and Sealant. Regardless you'll need some drying aid to top everything off.
