Everything Past the High-Pressure Hose

We can’t talk about an amazing sprayer and wand kit without adding in a foam cannon for your pressure washer. Whether you are a professional car detailer or a weekend warrior, this will be an accessory you’ll want in your setup. 

There are two types of people in the car detailing industry. Some who prefer to foam their cars with a foam gun, and others, like myself, who want to use a foam cannon. What differentiates the two is the foam gun only requires a water hose and doesn’t require a pressure washer, but it won’t produce enough pressure to create thick foam. If you want to get thick, shaving-cream-like foam,  you’ll need a pressure washer and you’ll want this kit which includes a foam cannon. This kit paired with GSF will give you the results you see in my videos. 

If you’re expecting your OE Sprayer to work well with a foam cannon, think again. I’ve seen far too many videos on social media where some guy is connecting his 3lb foam cannon to the end of a 40” wand. It’s absurd. Don’t do that. What you want is a short sprayer to connect your foam cannon to. This allows you to control everything so much better and make adjustments while you’re foaming. 

I made sure that all of the spray guns we sell are able to accept a foam cannon. When looking for aftermarket sprayers, I came across the MTM SG-28. It was a great sprayer that I enjoyed but it had limitations to it. I can tell you that I had many moments of frustration while washing my cars where the hose would get tangled and I would yank the darn thing in anger. 

So, because of this, I reached out to MTM and had them make the SGS-28; a well-built, swiveling sprayer that was based on the SG-28, but has all stainless steel internals. The reason why you want a swiveling sprayer is because it alleviates the issue of the pressure washer hose getting tangled and twisted.

Now, if you’re looking to step it up a notch, you’ll want to look at the Original Mosmatic Sprayer. Like the MTM SGS-28, the Original Mosmatic Sprayer has a swivel. The difference is that the swivel on the advanced sprayer is made by Mosmatic and is of much higher quality - it swivels much smoother. The trigger mechanism is also a lot more stout, yet requires very little effort to engage. I install PRIMA fittings on the Original Mosmatic Sprayer to help keep costs down. MTM = Chinese-made / more affordable. PRIMA = US-made / Mid-Range. Mosmatic = Swiss-made / extremely high quality.

We arrive at the highest level of quality and that’s the OG Spec Mosmatic Swiveling Sprayer. This is my pride and joy. Lots of money and time went into developing this sprayer. This piece uses all the best connections and hardware available in the market. It also swivels but the swivel and QD (quick disconnect) is built into the handle reducing the bulk on the inlet of the sprayer, making it much more ergonomic. Once you get this thing in your hand, you’ll wonder why you didn’t get it sooner. 

This kit isn’t complete without the wand. I have two options: the Original Mosmatic Stainless Steel Wand that comes in the basic and advanced kits and the OG Spec Mosmatic Stainless Steel Wand that comes in the ultimate kit. These wands both have a 20° bend in them to make rinsing the roof or the lower portions of your car easier. The notable differences between these two are the fittings and the rubber nozzle protector. The Original Mosmatic Wand uses MTM fittings and has a nozzle protector installed on the wand already. The OG Spec Wand uses Mosmatic fittings and has no nozzle protector. This is because the nozzles that come in the Ultimate Kit have the protector. 

Nozzles are also an important part of your pressure washer accessories and need to be upgraded. The nozzles that come with the pressure washer are prioritizing pressure over flow. For washing cars, flow is king. The nozzles I provide are some of the best out there. In the basic and advanced kits, you get a 4-pack of stainless steel nozzles from MTM. In the ultimate kit, you get the OG Spec Mosmatic Nozzle Assembly. 

All in all, you’re getting three high-end products along with quality fittings that will give you the best user experience and allow you to foam your car.
