Car Soap

It was a bit of an internal struggle, but my guys convinced me we needed to have an additional car wash shampoo in the store due to the high demand for GSF and us not being able to keep it in stock. From talking to Tommy (our Product Development Director) and getting his insight on what would serve as a viable soap to accompany Koch Chemie’s GSF, he suggested we go with CarPro Reset.

Most of you know that my thing is to curate products and not have too many of the same products in the store - that’s what makes me NOT a retailer. However, there will come a time when I’ll need to reassess and bend the rules a little. Many people in our Facebook group have spoken highly of Reset, so I thought it was worth a shot to bring it into the store.  

What I like about this car soap is that there are no gloss enhancers, polymers, or waxes inside. It does a great job of breaking down road grime and crap with its pH surfactants that give it the cleaning ability of an alkaline-based detergent without jeopardizing water beading or the protection you have with your ceramic coating. I also like how it doesn’t leave soap or residue after rinsing it off. 

If you’re looking for a solid alternative to GSF and one that I stand behind, I can confidently say this stuff is legit.

Directions

• Pour approximately 95mL of Reset into your foam cannon with 805mL of water - totaling 900mL of both product and water.
• Rinse your vehicle and then foam it. You’ll want the foam to sit on the paint for 3-5 minutes to pull off the dirt.
• Fill the wash bucket with 3 to 4 gallons of water and add approximately 1oz. of Reset(4 capfuls of Reset = 1 oz)
• Handwash the vehicle with your Incredipad and then rinse with water
